CHAPERONING GUIDELINES-CANNING
Supplies
include, (2) posterboards, (4) cans, (1) binder with paperwork (Please
take care of posterboards, so
that they don’t get dirty or
wet.) You can bring a card table
and chairs, if you want to. Please
check in at first shift, at the store office, and let them know the girls are there to start canning. Parents
are there to direct the girls, the girls are supposed to do the canning. There should be no distractions from their commitment of the There should be no distractions from their commitment of the 3 hour period. Each
shift parent chaperone should count the money at the end of their shift with the
parent chaperone for the next shift. Then each should sign the sheet. The last
parent chaperone is responsible for getting the money and supplies back to Lisa
at her house, at the end of their shift. You can call Lisa and Bob to make sure
they will be home to drop off the money. If they are out of town, Judy will make

WE WILL NEED ONE ADULT FOR EACH SHIFT AND AT LEAST 2 PLAYERS** Car Washes - In order for the car washes to go smoothly, we
need lots of volunteers including parents.
Players need to wear their blue team warm-up, grey sweats, or Blue
Practice Jersey so they are representing the club. IF you want to benefit from the fundraising you MUST attend
at least ONE Canning & ONE Car Washing Fundraiser. BURGER KING – COVENTRY (Immediately after Wal-Mart on the left) 9:30am-3:30pm
WHAT
WE WILL NEED: -
Players sign up for time slots at the car wash location nearest to them. -
Adults/Coaches to supervise during their child’s/player’s time slots. -
Buckets, sponges, soap, drying rags (remember to label them), squeegees, anything
you may have at home that will help wash the cars.

Player Credit = $ 4.00 Program Credit = $1.50 __________________________________________________________________________ Rhode Island Juniors’ April 9, 2006 Tournament Fundraiser The Rhode Island Juniors’ Volleyball Club is hosting a tournament, for the New England Regional Volleyball Association (NERVA), at the University of Rhode Island on April 9, 2006. 24 teams from all over New England will be in attendance along with their families & friends. We estimate at least 360 people in attendance. We are printing a Tournament Book to distribute to all of our
participants. A sample is available
for you to see. Players may solicit
ads for the booklet. It does not
matter if your team is in the event, you may still participate. The sizes and costs of the ads are below.
This fundraiser will be a 50-50 event.
50% of the profit will go to the player who solicited the ad and 50% to
the program. The funds raised by
players can be applied to their account and do not necessarily have to be
applied to a future tournament. Here
are the sizes for ads and their respective prices.
