On November 28th, 2006 - Call Backs & Player Selections - 6-9pm URI Keaney Gym.  Players who have already been selected will need to bring their signed contract & $500 deposit and turn them in prior to the start of the session.  If you do not turn in your contract & deposit we will assume you are not interested and we will offer your spot to another player during the call back session.  Players who are being re-evaluated at the call back session will be informed after the tryout or by email on November 29th whether they have been selected.

 

2006-2007 Plans:  We will be forming two teams to compete in the 18s division of the New England Region.  Both teams will try to qualify to play in the 18 Power League.  Players who were born on or after September 1, 1988 or players who were born on or after September 1, 1986 and a high school student during some part of the current academic year, are eligible for this age group.  We will accept players to these teams based on skill, competitiveness, attitude & work ethic regardless of their age classification.  If you are a younger player you may still tryout to play up on the 18s team if you are selected.

Interested in attending the tryout?  Click here to fill out our 2006-2007 Tryout Registration Form.  To read information about one of our teams, please click go to www.SchneckVolleyball.com and click on the club's icon to enter the club's website.  Then you can click on any one of the teams to read announcements/information concerning that individual team.  Follow the links in the toolbar on any of the individual team pages to read more information about the Rhode Island Juniors' Volleyball Club's history, mission, goals, coaching staff etc.     We are in the planning phases for the 2006-2007 season.   We have just finished a very successful 2005-2006 season.   Read our announcement section & Visit the individual team's pages to see how our teams performed this season.  For the 2006-2007 Club Volleyball Season, we will be fielding the most competitive teams possible.   We are looking for players that not only have the athletic ability, skill & volleyball potential, but also the commitment, dedication, drive & desire to excel in the sport of volleyball.  Attitude and work ethic are very important to us well as team chemistry.  The 2006-2007 club season begins in December with tournaments outside of the Region in January & February.  The Region's competition begins in March and continues through early May.  Both teams will culminate the season by competing in the East Coast Championships the end of May.
