TO BOB SCHNECK'S RHODE ISLAND VOLLEYBALL CAMPS
The mission of the Rhode Island
Volleyball Camp is to provide players with a quality experience, both athletically and socially, in a
safe, supervised & FUN environment. The staff, instruction, facilities, equipment, activities, itinerary and commitment to the
camper's experience are the
keys to the Rhode Island Volleyball Camp's success.
We
offer Two 4-Day Sessions of Camp in July. BOTH Sessions offer camps for
boys & girls grades 5-8 as well as an All Girls Camp for grades 7-Graduated
Seniors. Within the All Girls camp for 7-Graduated Seniors, campers may
attend as Individuals, Teams, Commuter or Overnight, Beginner to Elite
Levels.

DEVELOPMENT CAMP - (GIRLS ONLY)Session 1
(July 25-28) & Session 2 (July 29 - Aug. 1)
The
Development Camp is an
all day camp, for GIRLS ONLY entering grades 7 through Graduated Seniors.
This camp is is offered during both sessions 1 & 2. for players with skill levels ranging from Beginner to ELITE. Elite
level players are encouraged to sign up for our Elite Section. Campers will
receive approximately 25 hours of volleyball during their stay. Campers will
take part in a total of 7 intense 2 - 3 hour instructional sessions. Optional
Extra Help Sessions & Setter Training Sessions are available daily. Sessions
are followed by breaks in which campers eat their meals and have free-time. In
the evenings, except on the first day, campers will participate in 2 hours of
pool play which will culminate in a Festival Format Championship Playoff the
final day of camp. Players are coached to utilize the new skills they have learned. Following the
Evening Games, Activities have been planned to encourage campers to relax and
socialize. Activities include: Staff Match & Ice-Cream Social Night, Swim
Night (providing pool is open) & Camp Follies Night. After the activities campers return to the
dorm, halls are checked, and lights are out by 11:30pm. On the last day, campers
will be recognized in an Awards Ceremony for their Individual and Team
Achievements.
Campers may sign up to
attend the Development Camp in the INDIVIDUAL, ELITE,
or TEAM Sections of the camp. Please see Elite & Team Camp
sections for details about Restrictions and registration procedures.
Campers may stay OVERNIGHT on campus or COMMUTE. OVERNIGHT campers
receive all meals and 3 nights of housing, while COMMUTERS receive lunch
& dinner only with no housing or breakfast.

ATTENTION
CAMPERS: If you have not provided us with your email
address or have changed your email address, please update us by sending us an
email with your first and last name. All camp information is sent
through email. Please be sure to mail in your Medical Form, preferably

receive your form, signed by your parent/guardian prior to your participation in
camp.
