 Do you want to play volleyball in college?

Would you like to increase your chances of playing in college and possibly receiving an athletic scholarship?  If your answer is YES, are you doing all that you need to be doing to promote yourself?  The best way to market yourself is to sell your skills on a Recruiting DVD.  The most important thing to remember in the recruiting process is that you HAVE to be PROACTIVE.  You can’t sit back and wait for college coaches to come to you.  You may not be competing in a well scouted league or on a team that is attracting the attention of college coaches.  Don’t take a chance and miss out.  You need to take the initiative and make the first contact.  The best way is to send college coaches a DVD of your skills to introduce yourself and hopefully spark their interest.  This way you will be on the coach’s “radar” and they will be sure to watch you play when they are recruiting at tournaments you are competing in.  In taking the initiative, you show the college coach that you are interested in their program and are on top of the recruiting process.

Here are the services we can provide:

Skills Session & Introduction Session – Players will be scheduled to complete their skill’s portion of their DVD.  Sessions will be scheduled during July 19th - 26th.  Sessions may also be run in August.  Players will be taken through position specific drills to showcase their skills.  Players will also complete the Introduction portion of their DVD, whereby they introduce themselves and the DVD.  Time estimation for the skill’s sessions are 30-45 minutes.  Introduction approximately 10 minutes to film.  Total block of time 1 hour.  Additional time for setters will be needed and will run approximately 1.5 hours.  Footage will be edited and reduced to approximately 1 minute for the Introduction and up to 5 minutes of skills, longer for setters. 

Highlight Section – One thing I have found is that it is important to hook a coach early.  Coaches watch hundreds of tapes and sometimes fast forward through them to the sections they want to see. By adding some quick highlights of your best blocks, digs, serves, sets, and spikes, you will in a short time have shown the coach your best and entice the coach to watch more.  If they don’t watch your entire tape they will at least have seen you at your best.  You will need to specify where on your video footage the clips are that you want to use for highlights, we will review them and create a highlight section of about 2 minutes.  The highlight’s section will be have it’s own chapter and the coach will be able to navigate quickly to it.  Fee is based on the number of matches you provide. 

Game Footage Section – You provide us with the game footage and we will capture, edit and reduce the length of the video to approximately 7-10 minutes of game video.   Be sure to provide us with games where you know you have shown your best.  It is also important for the opponent to be worthy as coaches will be able to tell that the play was competitive or not.  Personal Data will be added to the video and will show with player’s name, position, graduation year & contact information.  Once edited we will burn your production to a DVD with any of the other components you have selected above.  We will provide you with 10 Finished DVDs that will contain all of the components you have ordered.  The DVDs will be edited to include chapters.  DVDs will be burned and a color label with your picture and pertinent information will be applied and placed in a clear case.  You may provide us with a picture or we can extract an image from your video.  Fee for this service is based upon the number of games you provide us.  (The more video you provide the more labor intensive the editing becomes in that there is twice as much footage to edit and reduce which takes a lot of time).

Additional DVDs with Label & Clear Case – Additional DVDs will be made that will include a full color label, picture, and pertinent information, placed in a clear case.
