**  ROOMMATE REQUESTS **

The space provided on the bottom of your application form IS NOT for requesting a roommate.  It is only for indicating if you have a preference for who you DO NOT want to be assigned to.  In the past we allowed campers to designate a roommate on their application form, but found it was confusing because a camper would request someone who may or may not be coming to camp or the camper they requested ended up requesting someone else to room with.  We have developed the following policy to ensure both campers are registered and both campers desire to room together.  Please adhere to this policy as it makes assigning rooms an easier process. 

The majority of rooms are set up as Triples with 3 beds.  There are only a few Double rooms.  Due to the increase in summer conferences on campus and the need for all available beds, we may be asked to use all beds, as much as possible, which means to triple the rooms that are set up as triples.  If you do not have a 3rd roommate at the time you are registering we can assign someone at a later date to your room if necessary.  If we have enough double rooms we will assign you based on when we received your information, so first come first served.  If you do not have a 3rd roommate request and we have not been asked to triple rooms, we will assign you as a double.  

If you have requests for other campers to be next to or near your room, you may also include their forms in the same envelope.  Be sure to staple the forms of the campers who are supposed to room together.  If there are more than 3 applications in the same envelope, please include a rooming list.  NOTE:  It is very difficult to change rooming assignments once they are completed.   Assignments are completed by July 13th. 

In order to request a roommate:

Attach your application, medical & player assessment forms to your roommate's and mail in the same envelope.  All  campers must also include their full payment.   Include a rooming list if there are more than 3 in the same envelope.

IF the above procedure is followed you WILL be guaranteed to be assigned to room with the roommate you have requested.  PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US TO ASK WHO YOUR ROOMMATE IS.  WE GET VERY BUSY AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESPOND.
